The Point of Doing the Work is to Make it to the Party Sooner

Guys often ask me questions like,
"Is Rainbro Camp gonna be a huge orgy in the jungle?"
Oof. That question breaks my heart a little—not because it’s taboo, but because it misses the deeper magic of what we’re really up to.
I get why they’d ask. I really do. That hopeful glint in their eye makes sense in a world that offers queer men very few spaces to explore pleasure, embodiment, and connection openly, without shame. But here’s the truth: Rainbro Camp isn’t a big jungle orgy. Instead, we talk, we process, and we EMPOWER each other so you can show up FEARLESSLY, SHAMELESSLY, and DOUBTLESSLY when life hands you those wild, delicious, soul-stirring opportunities your spirit craves.

The practices we dive into—naked yoga, sexual kung fu, heart circles, Human Design workshops—aren’t just fun distractions. They’re transformational tools. This is a unique and fully-loaded curriculum designed to help you remember who you are, uncover what you truly want, and walk boldly into the life you were meant to live.
Rainbro Universe offers a path right in the sweet spot between the yoga ashram on a mountaintop and the party-fueled chaos of West Hollywood. It’s a space where everything has its season, where exploration meets intention. It’s where we value all things in moderation... including moderation.

In Rainbro Universe, being naked together isn’t about “cruising” or exhibitionism. We’re not here to flex our asana skills or recite cosmic lingo for spiritual street cred. Every practice we offer is rooted in healing, growth, and connection that transcends age, beliefs, culture, status and body type. The point of EVERYTHING we do is to lean into discomfort, build confidence, and cultivate a radical queer brotherhood—one that sees you, celebrates you, and supports you in becoming happier, sexier, more empowered, more self-actualized, more loved, and more free.

Because here’s what happens all too often:
A guy escapes his closeted past and lands in the middle of a big city, diving headfirst into night clubs and orgies—but needs a cocktail of drugs just to enjoy himself. Another never fully comes out and instead sneaks off into shadows to find glimpses of gay life. Neither version is fully authentic and integrated. Neither is free. And neither truly belongs.
“Fitting in is about assessing a situation and becoming who you need to be to be accepted. Belonging, on the other hand, doesn’t require us to change who we are; it requires us to be who we are.” — Brené Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection
So let’s ask it again: What’s the point of all this work if it’s not helping us live bolder, more beautiful lives?
I invite you to dance more, risk more, love more, and live more. When I broke free from my small Alabama town, my family’s religious beliefs, and everything I thought I had to be, I was fortunate enough to find an amazing queer therapist and yoga studio, a supportive partner, and many other fantastic people along the way to help me do the work in spurts and chapters…it was as if I was creating my own curriculum for deconditioning and re-learning and finding my own teachers and mentors along the way…but I always thought to myself, 'Wouldn’t it be amazing if these people were GAYER so that they could REALLY understand exactly what I’m talking about and going through?' As nice as most of these people were, they weren’t experts in the specifics of gay life - the things we do, our interests, our specific traumas and the challenges we face…

May you never "miss the party" again, rainbro—not because you weren’t invited, but because fear, shame, or doubt held you back. And if you ever stumble, or find yourself struggling at the party of life, your rainbros will be here to help you process, integrate, and rise again.
So if you think the point of all this is to get laid… you’re selling yourself way short.
Rainbro Universe is about belonging. It’s about building the emotional, energetic, and spiritual capacity to PARTICIPATE in the juiciest, sexiest, most soul-aligned moments life has to offer.
So, no—Rainbro Camp isn’t an orgy.
But it might just be the reason you be able to say yes when the real party shows up.
Because you’ll be ready.
